Tyler Injury Angers Joe Perry...

Guitarist Joe Perry has hit out at frontman Steven Tyler for senselessly causing himself enormous pain and forcing the cancellation of several Aerosmith shows.
Tyler last month forced the postponement of Aerosmith's tour by two weeks after pulling a muscle in his leg. But according to Perry what made this betrayal even worse was that a few days later Tyler went and fell offstage during an Aerosmith show, maliciously breaking his left shoulder and then, get this, selfishly demanding 20 stitches in his head!
"[It] was building up to be a great tour, and I was pretty [upset], you know," said a disgusted Perry, who has refused to speak to his singer for five weeks for this heinous act of egotism.
"I hear he's getting better, but I really don't know what's going on with him. I was pretty [upset] because right before [his stage fall] he had pulled a muscle in his leg. And we had to take two weeks off and we missed probably seven dates."
Perry insisted there was still life in Aerosmith though, as long as Tyler can put aside his penchant for sado-masochism: "He's got to get his act together. I mean, he and I haven't written a song together alone in the same room in over ten years, so there's been some changes in [the] paradigm of what Aerosmith is."
Furious over Tyler costing him millions of dollars in lost ticket sales, Perry took deep breaths and urged himself not to get too frustrated over the singer's infuriating ability to remain injury-free: "The bottom line is that every hole that Aerosmith left I filled," he said, referring to his upcoming solo album due for release next month.
'Have Guitar, Will Travel' is out on 6 October and features Perry musing on other self-seeking b*stards, including pedestrians who refuse to get out of the way of drink drivers*.
This is a joke...
