About the Cool Cat Drive Pedal

The Danelectro Cool Cat Drive is a good looking, retro overdrive pedal that responds just like a valve amp would; low end/mids increase with gain – saturating and fattening the overdrive. Knock back the drive, keep the volume up, and the sound cleans up to a driving rhythm crunch that's good and solid for those nice crunching chords. Beside the usual controls, the Danelectro Cool Cat Drive has an Input Sensitivity trimpot that allows the user to customise the drive to suit the output of their guitar – match it to single coil or humbucker output levels for optimum response. It also has a "Lo Fi" DIP switch so that you can choose a second frequency range for a increasingly raw and unrefined drive tone.
