Bassist Geezer Butler has quashed rumours of a Black Sabbath reunion with Ozzy Osbourne at the helm, insisting the current Heaven And Hell line-up with Ronnie James Dio are happy and thinking of recording a new album.

“Black Sabbath’s Heaven and Hell are currently in discussions with various record labels about recording a brand new studio album in 2008” says Butler.

Heaven and Hell, featuring Dio, Tony Iommi, Butler and drummer Vinny Appice are about to embark on a major 11-date UK arena tour.

The band is named after their critically acclaimed 1980 studio album "Heaven and Hell" featuring the breakout hit "Neon Nights". Dio replaced Ozzy in Black Sabbath in 1980.
