B4MV To Headline London Charity Gigs
18th Feb 2009 | 16:46
Welsh metal crew Bullet For My Valentine will headline a unique set of benefit gigs in London next month, in aid of the Teenage Cancer Trust.
Tickets for the gigs, which take place at the prestigious Royal Albert Hall from 24 - 29 March, go on sale tomorrow [Friday] at 9am and are expected to sell-out fast.
Lending their support for Bullet's Saturday night headline show will be British rockers Fightstar and The Blackout.
Frontman Matt Tuck said: “It’s a real honor to be headlining for Teenage Cancer Trust this year. Many of our fans are a similar age to the young people that Teenage Cancer Trust supports. So it’s really hit home for us that having cancer at such a crucial time in a young person’s life must be devastating.
"We are proud to be involved and hope the concerts raise as much money as possible for their incredible work.”
The full line up involves:
Tues 24 March: Antony and the Johnsons, Florence And The Machine, VV Brown
Thur 26: Stereophonics plus special guests
Fri 27: Kasabian plus special guests
Sat 28: Bullet for My Valentine, The Blackout, Fightstar
Sun 29: An evening of comedy hosted by Mathew Horne and James Corden
More acts will be announced in the coming weeks – for tickets and full details visit www.teenagecancertrust.org or call 0871 231 0836.
