Mark Heaney (Gang Of Four) has let us in on his latest project, Monument Of Sound. His first EP, EP1, gives us a glimpse of what we can expect with Mark's tight, heavy beats taking centre stage of a collection of epically huge, danceable soundscapes. Mark was also responsible for guitars, synths, loops and samples on the EP.

Mark says of Monument Of Sound, "It's basically a platform for all my future and past solo work. I will also be collaborating with vocalists and other musicians."

He added: "I will be releasing three instrumental EPs from now until the end of the year which people can buy online and early next year I will be putting out a full album."
