Ex-Take That drummer jailed

Session drummer Steve Washington, real name Steve Tate, who has in the past performed with acts including Take That and Texas, has been jailed for four years for bank robbery.Tate admitted to holding up the Folkestone branch of Lloyd's TSB with a gift-wrapped music stand last July and stealing £1200. He was also charged with four other offences, including stealing alcohol worth less than £20. Maidstone Crown Court heard that the once successful and financially well off drummer had stopped working after he became addicted to drugs.
