The earcups feature a larger soundstage for improved acoustics too
Purveyors of very expensive headphones, Ultrasone Inc, has released a brand new Pro series. The first model - the Pro 900 - features S-Logic Plus Technology, which basically provides a larger soundstage inside the earcup for an "improved acoustic feeling". At a cost of $600 per pair, we'd expect nothing less.
The 900s have a closed-back, classic black design and velvet covered ear pads. Ultrasone also boasts that a built-in MU-Metal shield reduces radiation output from your computer by a massive 98%, when compared to conventional headphones.
Here's the technical spec…
- 6-42k Hz frequency range
- 40 Ohm impedance
- 96dB sound pressure level
- 40mm titanium-plated driver
- 295g weight (without cord)
What else do you get for your money? Two removable cables (one spiral and one straight) and a hard carrying case. Gold plated, surely…
