Reason 5 Kong Drum Designer revealed

16 pads and a whole lot more going on behind them
Propellerhead Software has lifted the lid on the final big new Reason 5 feature: the Kong Drum Designer.
This new module sports 16 pads and supports analogue synthesis, physical modelling, sampling and REX loops. You'll also find effects, flexible routing and multiple hit types.
In short, and as you'll see in the video above, it makes Reason's original Redrum module look as old-hat as you'd expect a nine-year-old device to be.
