Korg's monotribe was announced less than two weeks ago, but already, a virtual version that offers a similar feature set has been set loose on the internet.

This comes courtesy of Angry Octopus, who unveiled the so-called webotribe on the KVR forum. Although the developer admits that "it doesn't sound very close to the real thing and is missing a few features," this Java-based instrument is great fun, and certainly a useful taster for anyone who wants to try a monotribe-style workflow before investing in the real thing.
