Star plans Fatburger outlets
Having conquered the charts, hip-hop multi-tasker Kanye West has apparently set his money-making sights on the fast food market. Chicago Business reports that his company KW Foods LLC has purchased the rights to open ten Fatburger outlets in his native Chicago.
Operating under the slogan 'The Last Great Hamburger Stand', Fatburger was founded in 1952. The company's website says that founder Lovie Yancey picked the name because she had "created the biggest, juiciest hamburgers anyone had ever seen".
Kanye West isn't the first hip-hop star to get into bed with Fatburger – apparently, Pharrell Williams has already opened several restaurants in China.
So, it seems that we've gone from rappers having beef with each other to selling it to the general public.
