Apple backs down on Nine Inch Nails iPhone app

A victory for forum ranting
Trent Reznor's angry post on the Nine Inch Nails forum seems to have been enough to convince Apple that his Nine Inch Nails iPhone app is OK after all, as the company has now reversed its decision and allowed it into the App Store.
Having initially accepted nin:access last month, Apple then told Reznor that it was being rejected – seemingly on the grounds that it contains a link to a Podcast that features a song (The Downward Spiral) with swearing in it.
However, as Reznor swiftly pointed out, The Downward Spiral is already available – in unedited form – on the iTunes Music Store.
Now, perhaps recognising its inconsistency, Apple has backed down and put nin:access in the App Store (it's free, by the way).
Reznor confirmed the news in a Tweet yesterday, saying: "The NIN iPhone app is unchanged, the 'issues' seem to have been resolved."
