Big-name artists turn recession-friendly
In a concerted drive to minimise the effects of the recession, artists such as Nine Inch Nails, David Byrne and Lenny Kravitz are reducing the price of live tickets in Europe.
The acts have teamed up with promoter Live Nation to sell tickets for €15 each at certain European gigs. Other artists who have signed up to the offer include Motley Crue and Limp Bizkit. More artists are expected to follow suit in the near future.
