Limited edition Custom Shop Chet Atkins model announced
Incredibly, Gretsch has been in business for 125 years, and the launch of a truly beautiful electric guitar is surely the only appropriate way to celebrate this impressive milestone.
The G6120 Chet Atkins 125th Anniversary model is limited to just 25 pieces worldwide, and each has been lovingly crafted by Gretsch Custom Shop master builder Stephen Stern.
Finished in transparent orange stain over genuine gold leaf, the Anniversary model really is a sight to behold, and if you are one of the lucky few who can afford to drop ten and a half thousand big ones on such an instrument, rest assured that it sounds just as good as it looks, thanks to a pair of TV Jones Classic pickups.
For your £6,999.99 - don't forget the all-important 99 pence - you also get a Gretsch 125th Anniversary guitar strap and belt buckle hand-tooled by renowned leather craftsman Tom Nix.
