Star has another legal battle on his hands
It must be a strange day for Michael Jackson when he wakes up and doesn't find a lawsuit sitting on his doormat. The latest to arrive comes from his former publicist, who's suing for $44m.
Raymone Bain represented Jackson in 2005, when he faced child abuse charges. However, she now says that: "Mr Jackson has elected not to honour the financial obligations of our contractual relationship, despite my numerous attempts to amicably resolve this matter.
"I am sincerely disappointed in Mr Jackson's failure to honour his obligations."
Bain claims that Jackson had agreed to give her a share of the profits from deals she arranged for him, but that he has failed to do so.
Earlier this year, it emerged that director John Landis was suing The King Of Pop for unpaid royalties generated by the Thriller video.
Jackson is set to begin a mammoth residency at London's O2 Arena in July.
