Drummer talks music, politics and tolerance
When Lars Ulrich appears on TV, it's usually on music-based shows during which he discusses an upcoming Metallica album or tour.
But last night (27 April), the Metallica basher made a surprise guest shot on MSNBC's Rachel Maddow Show, a left-wing talker, in which he opined on his liberal views, life in the Bay Area and how he tries to lead a normal life by making lunch for his kids.
The talk wasn't all light-hearted, however, as Ulrich addressed topics such as tolerance in the 'red states' and his views on Metallica's music having been used to "break" prisoners in Iraq.
