Jackson electric "the only one in the world"
Iron Maiden guitarist Adrian Smith's one-off Jackson electric guitar was stolen following the band's performance in Athens on Saturday 2 August.
The band are offering a reward of an Iron Maiden tour jacket and a hand-written letter of thanks from Adrian in exchange for information that leads to the recovery of the instrument.
The guitar, pictured below, is a high-end Jackson finished in white, with a HSS pickup configuration, ebony fretboard, Floyd Rose vibrato, black hardware and a white scratchplate.
Smith's signature appears on the guitar's headstock, and the guitar was last seen in a standard moulded black Jackson hard case. Its serial number is 8467.
"The only one in the world"
The fact that the guitar is a one-off is interesting, leading us to speculate that it may be some sort of prototype destined for a future Jackson production run. Stay tuned to MusicRadar for the latest news on that the moment it surfaces.
