Currently unsigned after being dropped by their label, indie punksters The Futureheads are back on form and offering fans two new downloads over the Christmas period.

Sign up to the mailing list via The Futureheads official site to access recently unveiled tune Broke Up The Time, and a brand new unnamed track delivered to your inbox on Christmas Day. Cheers.

Keeping with the yuletide theme, Newport's finest rap collective Goldie Lookin' Chain have recorded a free charity single called This Christmas and Mercury Prize nominated Maps are offering their version of East 17's Stay Another Day.

You can also download the unmistakable indie-blues of Cold War Kids in the shape of The Mulberry Street EP, one of three six-track EPs recorded by the band before 2007's debut LP, Robbers And Cowards.

Electro-pop newcomers, To My Boy, have also posted an acoustic version of their album, Messages. Here's to free, legal music...
