Great book to check out

We've been having a clearout in the office and I came across a review book from a few years ago that has had me re-reading it again. It's called 'Between The Strings: The Secret Lives Of Guitars' by John August Schroeter (published by Johnaugustmusic/melbay) and is a very readable and dip-in-able book. It's a series of small interviews with well known (Chet Atkins, Eric Johnson, Johnny Cash, Andy Summers etc) and not so well known guitarists. Tips, road stories, auditions, gear, inspirational insights - in short, it's perfect for a train journey or when you've a spare fifteen minutes. Then again, once you've started it you may not want to put it down!
