The Aussie popsters INXS seem to have completed their bounce back from Hutchence-free obscurity, if a BBC interview with drummer Jon Farriss is anything to go by.

The Aussie popsters INXS seem to have completed their bounce back from Hutchence-free obscurity, if a BBC interview with drummer Jon Farriss is anything to go by.

Their world tour has sold out and their new singer, recruited via reality TV show Rock Star of course, looks to have found his feet after a couple of alleged indiscretions.

When asked if he considered giving up once their original and enigmatic vocalist had been found dead, Farriss says: “I remember coming home from hearing the news about Michael thinking that was it. But we loved it too much to finish, and I'm really grateful that we stuck through and wrote some more great music.”
