Here at Guitarist we get a lot of requests for articles from past issues. So regular readers will be pleased to hear that we’re publishing our archive material online through the brand new website for musicians and music makers, MusicRadar.com (www.musicradar.com).
There you’ll find a wealth of free tuition material in the Tutorial section of the site, including tab and video lessons from legendary Guitarist tutors like Neville Marten, Stuart Ryan and Jonny Scaramanga, as well as contributions from our sister magazines Total Guitar, Guitar Techniques, Computer Music, Future Music and Rhythm.
Guitarist readers will enjoy our free playing guides for the likes of Jimmy Page, Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, Peter Green and Larry Carlton, and there are also masterclasses on using harmonics, sweep picking, playing better rhythm guitar and more.
The site also features a comprehensive product database, with 5,000 products (growing to 10,000 over the coming months), including full specifications, pictures and prices, along with reviews and ratings from experts and users.
Register for the site and you can create personalised profiles enabling you to present your playing skills through video and audio files, and showcase your musical equipment. The MusicRadar network enables you to meet, chat, share tips and collaborate with other musicians around the world.
And if you’re an active recording musician you’ll be interested in the 1000s of free samples available on the site for you to download and use in your music making activities. MusicRadar.com is brought to you by the people who bring you Guitarist – visit the site at www.musicradar.com
