Fight Or Fall: John Sykes quits Thin Lizzy

There's trouble in the Thin Lizzy camp.
But however you feel about the collection of musicians touring under the name, the news today that guitarist and singer John Sykes has quit the band isn't good for their future prospects – they now feature only one member who ever played in the original band alongside the late Phil Lynott.
That guitarist is Scott Gorham – an undisputed guitar hero. And one who's not ready to throw the towel in on Lizzy yet either, as his statement on the matter makes clear…
"It's been a very tough time of late for myself and the band," said Gorham. "Firstly with drummer Tommy Aldridge's injury and now the subsequent decision for John and the rest of the group to go their separate ways. I can only apologize to everyone who has supported us over the years, but we will be back up to full speed soon."
So, any chance of Scott's old partner in twin harmony heaven Brian Robertson coming back?
Don't believe a word unless you read it here.
