Indaba to take the online DAW to the next level

Online DAW and community Indaba is upgrading its Flash-based audio sequencer to a full-on, JavaFX-powered monster that will allow users to record directly to the online app, drag audio from their desktop, add effects and use pre-built loops to piece tracks together quickly.

The new version has the support of those notorious futurists Weezer. The band’s Rivers Cumo says "It's like a simplified version of any of these complex professional recording programs that no one like me knows how to use. It's going to open the door for a giant population of musicians out there, a giant resource for somebody like me."
